We exist to further the business interests of our members across
Ghana and the United Kingdom
The UK-Ghana Chamber of Commerce (UKGCC) was established in 2016 to promote trade between the United Kingdom and Ghana. It is the leading private sector organisation proffering trade and commerce support for the United Kingdom and Ghana businesses.
The UKGCC provides exceptional support for its members through the sharing of knowledge and ideas, creating platforms for building stronger networks and providing linkages with Government and its agencies. One of its key foci is to see Ghana become a significant economic partner for the United Kingdom as an export market, import source, investment destination and vice versa. It exists to further the business interests of its members across both countries and create more business opportunities.
The UKGCC is backed by the British and Ghana Governments through the United Kingdom-Ghana Business Council and the British Chambers of Commerce in the United Kingdom and is Africa Scotland Business Network Strategic Partner. The UKGCC is a two-time British Chambers of Commerce (BCC) International Chamber of the Year finalist, and 2023 BCC International Chamber of the Year.
Testimonials
DIAK Technical Export Ltd
We have past projects in Ghana such as with Volta River Authority but have not yet enjoyed the services of a professional sales agent. We now seek a partnership with a Ghana company concentrating on the engineering industry.
Our sectors are industrial, power, marine, port, and rail with past clients such as the World Bank, European Union, Crown Agents and many international development authorities. You need a proven track record and already represent major manufacturers

This collaboration has also provided us with a platform to engage with key stakeholders and drive growth within the industry. UKGCC is like a big family away from home, offering all the support you need to grow your business. I highly recommend that all businesses come on board.
Thank you.

We are not only into the sale of fuel and lubricants, we also sell bitumen; we are in the mining sector; we are at the offshore looking at drilling for our own use and for the international market, and we have other non-fuel related sections like our merchandising unit and our safety unit.
I must say being a member of the UK-Ghana Chamber of Commerce has helped us. It's opened us up to more partnerships, especially for the mines and at this function (International Jazz Day and Whisky event), I’ve gotten into contact with people who have promised us some business so from here we are going to do some follow-ups to follow up on that business. I must say the networking has been good. Our next line of action is to look at the trade shows so that we take opportunity of that to portray GOIL internationally.

The webinar provided valuable insights and practical strategies on harnessing the crowdfunding platform, Chango to drive impactful development initiatives in Ghana. The expertise and knowledge shared by the speakers were invaluable, and the engaging discussions left most attendees inspired and motivated to take action. We had quite a number of engagements with the attendees after the webinar.
We would like to commend UKGCC for their dedication to delivering high-quality content to the audience. We are eagerly looking forward to part 2 of this enlightening series, as we firmly believe it will further empower organizations and individuals in the diaspora and Ghana to make a significant difference in Ghana's development landscape

We have become thought leaders on the Ghanaian business environment and this position is enhanced by our annual Business Environment & Competitiveness Survey Report, currently in its 6th year, which covers issues such as business confidence, cost of funding, ease of doing business, taxation and logistics.
In addition to these aspects of our work we have taken on the role of acting as an interface between government and various sector groups in our membership such as hospitality, travel & tourism, energy, mining and related services, financial services etc.
The quality of our members and their diverse outlook and experiences thus give us the ability to bridge this gap between officialdom and business which we believe goes a long way to smooth the path for both sides.
